“ Located inside the Troy H Mart. It is small and can get crowded at times but the portions are pretty good for the price. I enjoy the tangsuyuk and jajjangmyeon here, definitely can feed about two people for an order of that We also always get a bibimbap. Good amount of food and the taste is satisfactory. Overall, a great place to get your quick bite before or after grocery shopping in H Mart! ”
“ When I am tired of cooking I can come here and enjoy authentic Korean dishes. The price is fairly reasonable to compare with other Korean restaurants. My favorites are Kalguksoo, Tangsooyuk and Jeyukbokum. ”
“ This is the place for a simple, quick satisfying home cooked Korean meal. Conveniently hidden and located at the back of Hmart. The soondubu jigae and seafood pancake hits the spot. Fast, food court type style service where you order at the counter and pick up. They also make kimbap which they sell at the counter and I always grab one to go! ”
“ This place is located inside H Mart. The prices aren't bad for their portion size. Service is decent. Seating is always tricky since it's always busy. Wished their food is more flavorful other than being watered down for soups, especially. ”
“ This is actually a small food court inside of H-Mart where they serve authentic Korean foods. The menu itself consists of the famous home-style Korean dishes. You order at the counter and sit yourself in one of the tables. It feels like eating in one of those Korean-style cafeteria. I love Korean food so much but that day I went for Soondae Bokkeum (stir fried soondae, which is Korean blood sausages) because among other menu, this is not easily find elsewhere at least according to my knowledge. Soondae sounds daunting to a lot of people, but seriously they taste pretty good. It has an iron taste and chewy, squishy texture from the cellophane noodle filling. I prefer it in stir-fried form than soup as it goes really well with the sauce and has a sligh crispness to it. The portion was HUGE and for the price it was very good. Looking forward to try other menu from here. ”
“ Honestly, better than simply "good" in terms of the food, but admittedly: everything else is pretty rag-tag. That's completely OK. My $11.66 bulgogi makes me very happy every time I order it, especially when they're nice and willing to give me *just* a bit more white rice to go with it...it really makes the meal just that much better to me. But look: it's a little restaurant counter in an Hmart/Korean grocery store. "Fancy" it is *not*. Not at all. Not a date night place. Not a place to show The One You Love how much you value them unless, you know...they *really* like a bit run-down, family-style seating, loud-ish places to eat where you bus your own dishes and trays, schlep for your own utensils, napkins, water, etc. It's, um...I guess the best word I'll use to describe the setting is "utilitarian". There. That's fair. Utilitarian. It gets the job done, and that's about it. But oh, the lovely-and-relatively-cheap food. Yes, it is darned good, and I'm there probably a couple of times a month, many times on Sunday evening, when I'm craving something Asian and most of the local places are closed on Sunday. The food is pretty stinking stellar in my opinion, or at least what I've had is. I fully admit that what I almost always have is bulgogi (I've had a couple other things too, like their Korean chicken wings!), though, and that's wonderful here, but more than that, the kimchi and soup that comes with the bulgogi (and white rice, obviously) are top-notch, too. The miso soup is just a small serving that will come in a not-quite-half-full styrofoam cup, and believe it or not: it's still pretty stinking marvelous. The batch I had today was absolutely *terrific*, full of flavor, and piping hot. Steaming, even, and the soup never separated. Plus, the kimchi you receive isn't all just fermented cabbage, you receive other pickled vegetables, too, and they all have their place on the tongue and in the meal. Yes, it might be pedestrian in appearance, but in flavor and texture? Wonderful. Alas, the drawbacks of the place are the environmental kind, and your experience might be adversely affected by those around you with squealing, stupid children that have had too much sugar that day, who won't shut up. I mean, why *would* they? They're in a grocery store, for heaven's sake! As well, the tables can sometimes not be as clean as you wish they'd be based on how busy the place can be and the turnover of people eating there...things can get a bit on the sloppy side sometimes. But hey: you know what you're getting into going in, now don't you? I like it, and I like it a good bit. It's certainly not perfect, but the food really throws down and challenges you to get over the setting and environmental factors and asks: what's *really* important to you? If good food trumps fanciness, you will, indeed, be quite happy here. If screaming children really gets to you, well...maybe you'll learn to eat in a hurry? Or get it to go? For the reasonable prices they're charging, you can't afford not to give them a shot. The grocery itself seems pretty pricy to me, but maybe I'm being a bit picky. Woori Jip, though, is still very good. ”
“ I found this place by accident and I'm glad I did. Their food is great. Service is only from the counter, but it's surprising that after one visit they can remember what you ordered the time before. ”
